Promenade View Cabins

Recommended Posts

We're looking to book a short cruise in October on the Adventure of The Seas, Malaga to the Canaries. Has any one had an Promenade View stateroom? are they noisey. We are not night birds and like to be in bed with a book about 11:30pm, so should we book a Promenade View and risk noise from the bars etc, or a standard inside.

We were on Mariner in cabin 7281 back in December (across and up one floor from the pub), and the only time noise was an issue was during the parades, and on 70's dance night. Never heard anything from the pub. Keep in mind, these cabins are smaller than standard inside cabins, but perfectly fine. Also keep in mind many of these cabins are adjoining (ours wasn't). We had friends that stayed on Deck 6 adjacent to the crew elevators above the shops, and never heard anything.

I was in 6279 on the explorer. Very little noise. If there was a parade or something going on you had to be like up agaisnt the window to hear it. For my next cruise on the explorer we are in 8297.

There wasn't much noise after 10pm. I need complete quiet and darkness to fall and stay asleep and I had no problem sleeping. In fact I slept too late, one morning the phone rings and its my father letting me know its 10am and they are at the pool. lol (It was a sea day). It felt like 6am lol
