Anyone have any comments on this location for a pre-cruise hotel? We are traveling with two 15 year old teen girls. Thanks.

I stayed there a couple of years ago. Would not recommend it.

I thought it was borderline in the area of cleanliness. Also, the walls were paper-thin. There was no carpeting on the floor, just linolium (sp?), and the hallways had a musty odor.

OK if they just remodeled, it might be better. As I said it was a few years since we were there and it was sadly in need of remodeling. Check out tripadvisor.com for recent reviews.

I'm not a good one to ask about pools since we live in Florida and have one. Nobody's pool is ever as clean as ours, since it's usually DH and I as the only ones in it. The location is kind of away from the "action" of South Beach, etc. If you like that then fine, if not you'll have to take a cab or if you have a car be aware Miami Beach charges for parking everywhere.
