Disembarkation Luggage question for the Summit

Hoping someone can help me out.

In the past, there was an option (applicable fees) to "pre" check-in your luggage (get boarding passes and luggage claim tags) on the ship, contingent on participating airlines, so that on debarkation day , after claiming bags and clearing customs, your luggage would be transferred directly to the airport/airline in San Juan for you. This was great, allowing us to spend day in Old San Juan without luggage in tow all day. Is this option still available???

Often it is. But you can't count on it. Not all airlines participate, and your flight has to be within the time parameters they will explain to you once onboard. Even if you apply to do it, you may be denied by TSA. It's a great service and I hope it will be there for you.
