Carnival terminal at Port of Tampa...

Need some assistance from all the savy cruisers out there concerning what time Carnival opens their terminal for new embarcing passengers to be processed...I am trying to book our shuttle departure to the port from our hotel in Tampa...DW loves to get on board as early as possible (VIP status and all) to grab a Lido deck table and her first DOD!!!...
