pandi77 Posted March 10, 2011 #1 Share Posted March 10, 2011 Good morning! Straight line winds, lightning, and torrential rains blew through when Radiance tried to pull into Tampa this am. Wonder if disembarkation was delayed at all. I feel bad for all the passengers who had to contend with that weather as a welcome home! We will have rough seas leaving tonight but will take that over this morning anytime. Has anyone had severe storms delay passengers from disembarkation after the ship docked? MagMae7 Posted March 10, 2011 #2 Share Posted March 10, 2011 We got off Radiance this morning. Was cool and wet, but no delays to my knowledge. We had great weather during our cruise and hope you will as well.
believer33323 Posted March 10, 2011 #3 Share Posted March 10, 2011 I read somewhere that the Radiance was supposed to go through some sort of rehab. Have you seen any changes???

Rare Cruise Raider Posted March 11, 2011 #8 Share Posted March 11, 2011 Good morning! Straight line winds, lightning, and torrential rains blew through when Radiance tried to pull into Tampa this am. We will have rough seas leaving tonight but will take that over this morning anytime. Has anyone had severe storms delay passengers from disembarkation after the ship docked? We actually sailed in early due to an impending storm, which really wallopped us all night and morning. Only disappointment, the casino closed early -- so couldn't leave any more money with the ship that last night onboard. ha! This was in Ft Lauderdale and during hurricane season. We were not late disembarking as we were already in port as of midnight or maybe even earlier. The only delay was that the cabs were not ready for such an early disembarkation so there was about a 45 minute wait just to get them to line up. We were at the airport by 8 AM and there was a strong possibility our flights would be delayed due to the weather but looks like we got out just in time and off to Vegas -- oh, to give up the dollars that were burning a hole in our pockets because we couldn't spend them on the cruiseship's casino....ha!
