Have any of the South Pacific islands been damaged by the tsunami?

Just thinking about places like French Polynesia and Samoa, and wondering if the tsunami had any effect on them.

Because they are mainly isolated it will take some time before we know.

Was on Bora Bora during the Japan earthquake and was awaken by the hotel front desk at 4:30 in the morning telling us they were evacuating us for higher ground due to a tsunami alert. We stayed evacuated for about 5-6 hours and when the all clear was given, was able to go back to the hotel. Reports were a few waves but nothing that did any damage. There were 2 cruise ships anchored off Bora Bora at the time. It was a real experience.
