I thought I read somewhere that during the 1st night of sailing this specialty restaurant has a 2 for 1 ??

I think that depends a lot on how well it is sailing and is a last minute special. We asked about such specials on a recent Eclipse sailing and were told there were none and that all the Specialty restuarants were regular price.

On my last cruise they did a 20% off any specialty restaurant the first night. On another recent cruise they offered coupons for Bistro on 5. Also had the 2 for 1 offer. No consistency here, it depends on your sailing. However, I always ask if there is a first night special.
