pandahead Posted March 20, 2011 #1 Share Posted March 20, 2011 I was thinking of snorkeling at either St Lucia or Antigua, does anyone know which is a better spot for snorkeling with more fishes and clear water? Any suggestions is greatly appreciated. pandahead
nytonowhere Posted March 24, 2011 #2 Share Posted March 24, 2011 There was fantastic snorkeling at Jalousie Beach in St. Lucia We also did some good snorkeling at Long Bay Antigua, but this is a ST. kitts board so why not try the st. lucia or antigua board? reedprincess Posted March 25, 2011 #4 Share Posted March 25, 2011 Thanks very much for the information. Did I post to the wrong post? Oh I thought this was St Lucia, guess I was wrong. I will keep these places in mind.:) this is the St. Lucia board. Snorkling is great around the Pitons - Jalousie Beach, Anse Chastenet, Anse L'Ivrgne (which is on the other side of Gros Piton from Jalousie) Also, there is some snorkling at Pigeon Point in the north, along with some old ruins and great local restaurants, and is much closer to the cruise port area. However, the Pitons are St. Lucia's icons and nothing beats the views down around them. Me, I would snorkel at both islands!
