Just tried for a 4 star for Fort Lauderdale and had no luck went to a 3 star and got for 60.00/night Ft lauderdale beach Holiday Inn
999 Fort Lauderdale Beach Blvd. I just called the Hotel for this night 7/2 (pre cruise) and she quoted me 149.99 plus 11% tax. So all in all not bad. I didn't do that great with Miami got the Radison Deauville which is not getting rave reviews. But it is for 1 night post cruise. Wish me luck!!! I might need it after what I have read...

Stayed at the Holiday Inn this past March, it's about 6 miles as oraf7 said, and they don't have a hotel shuttle from the airport or to the pier. You have to take a taxi.
