The tenders still run from the ship to the new cove/dock they built.

There will still be tendering, the new docking basin is for the tenders, not the ship.

As has already been stated you will still have to tender on one of the "Little Norways". The tenders will be able to still do, what my family calls, their "Normandy invasion" assault on the beach for people to load and unload. This new area will open more beach area and eliminate the need for the tenders to go thru the swim area which always had a potential for an accident.
