Casino question

I am very inexperienced as far as ship casinos go (or any for that matter) my question is, if you go in to the casino and purchase credits for a slot machine with your sign and sail card ( I assume your card goes in the machine like a players card) and then cash out the credits when you redeem your credit slip, will they give you cash or a credit back to your sign and sail.

They will give you cash.

You can use your sail and sign to get cash on your machine. When it is time to cash out your credits, you will upload them onto your card. If you have any remaining credit on your card you can take it to the cashier to cash out. There will be no credit slip out of the machine.

You can also move from machine to machine downloading and uploading your credit with your card.

If you go to the cashier to get cash off your card you will be charged........you won't be charged if you use the machines.

The ship casino doesn't print your winnings on a slip like some land based Casino. You can put cash in the machine or download credits to your players bank and when you are finished playing that machine you upload any remaining credits to your players bank.

You can choose to go to another machine and download the credits to that machine or you can take your card to the cashier and ask for cash.

I sometimes don't bring my gambling cash on the cruise, so I just download cash to my players bank each day when I'm ready to play. It shows up on my Sail & Sign card as an Entertainment expense rather than a cash advance and is charged against the credit card that I secured my account with and there is no surcharge to get money this way.

If you go to the pursers desk and ask for a cash advance that transaction will cost you 3%.
