I vaguely remember in the past, that if you booked a cruise on board, you could get a certificate to give a friend, if they booked the same cruise, you both would get a certain discount & OBC? I couldn't use it then, but wondered if such a thing still exists or has it just "morphed" into $25 referrals? Maybe I'm really dating myself, afterall I've been cruising Princess since about 1989. ;)

You might be able to get them the same rate as you (call Princess or check with your TA) but they no longer will receive the shipboard credit as they used to. I am guessing you plan on booking with an FCC? They used to allow you to share the wealth (that particular coupons name back then) and friends could benefit the same as you with the booking, but that ended some time ago. Now each of you will need an FCC in your name, no longer will they accept one for the first two passengers in the stateroom.
