Wondering what happens with your luggage on a Celebrity back to back if you have to change cabins between the cruises. Thanks.

Wondering what happens with your luggage on a Celebrity back to back if you have to change cabins between the cruises. Thanks.

 

 

No Probs.

 

Your cabin steward will happily arrange for stuff to be moved. You just empty and pack up drawer contents.. Steward/s will move wardrobe contents, (on hangers) to new cabin.

 

If your reservations are linked, they may already know and take the initiative to speak with you during your first cruise.... Otherwise, just ask.

Before the first cruise ends, introduce yourself to the new steward so he/she will know to have the new stateroom cleaned and ready for you before all the others in that station. Leave your packed suitcases in the old room and the two stewards will coordinate moving them from one room to another. In my case, I was asked to remove things from hangers, but in many cases you can leave them on the hangers and they will be moved that way.

Did a b2b in January. Spoke with both old and new stewards. Had to pack up everything and move it ourselves in the early am. Also, didn't have access to new room until 1 pm, so remember to take everything you need with you in the am.

Wow -- that is so different from everyone else's experience! Can I ask which ship that was on? My new room was ready by 11 a.m. (Connie, Feb 2011)
