Does anyone know anything about Cemetery Beach at Grand Cayman? We will arrive by Freedom of the Seas. How do you get there? How much does it cost? What services (food, alcohol, etc) are available there? What is there to do there?

Does anyone know anything about Cemetery Beach at Grand Cayman? We will arrive by Freedom of the Seas. How do you get there? How much does it cost? What services (food, alcohol, etc) are available there? What is there to do there?

 

Search "Cemetary Beach" in this forum and you'll find tons of threads about the beach and people's experiences there.

 

That being said, you can take a bus there for $2.50US each way, or a taxi for about $6 or $7 US per person each way. It's at the far end of Seven Mile Beach. There are no services there at all. You can swim or sit on the sand. :D There's mediocre snorkelling offshore a bit, but you'd need to bring your own gear.

 

If you want "stuff" available, your better choices are either Royal Palms, Sea Grape or Tiki Beach, all sections of Seven Mile Beach with excellent facilities.
