10 Day Eastern: when are formal nighrs?

We were on the eastern trip with the Emerald on March 18....the day after embarkation was the 1st formal and the 2nd one was the last sea day, or the sea day before Princess Cay.

I had called a Princess rep. and she gave me the formal dates that were wrong....so, I wouldn't bother checking with them.

If you start with 2 sea days, it's the first sea day and the third (last) sea day. If you start with Princess Cays, I've seen it done two ways: formal night can be Princess Cays night (since the ship leaves fairly early), or the following night (which is also a sea day). And then the second formal night is the second sea day (also the second-last night of the cruise).
