smoking policy on carnival

You can smoke in all cabins on Carnival.. except the newer ships that have the SPA cabins..

 

I asked the cabin steward for an ashtray and was told we could not smoke in the cabin. I then called housekeeping and was told the same thing. They said you could only smoke in balcony cabins- on the balcony.

well I was lied to more than once then. I was told by the cabin steward and when I called housekeeping. I was also told I could be fined if they smelled smoke. Housekeeping said smoking was allowed in balcony cabins only- on the balcony
