Courtyard Marriott Beach hotel

Does anyone has a special website (like valuetrips.com for Hyatt Place North) where you can get a better price for this specific hotel (Courtyard Marriott Beach Hotel).

This is the hotel we want since it has 2 queen beds instead of 2 doubles but the price is quite high for the date that we want (Jan 2nd 2012).

Any suggestion or feed back is welcomed.

Did you try a AAA discount? Looks like it is $191 per night with AAA. This is reasonable for that date to be on the beach. I stayed here in Feb and liked it.

I just booked the Sheraton Beach for the 11th January for 3 nights at 100 usd a night which I thought was pretty good with hotwire - maybe they have 2 queen bed rooms.

By the way , is there anything open on New Year Day and Jan 2nd in FLL ? Shopping, restaurant, etc...?

You'll find restaurants open and grocery stores but really no retail shopping other than Walgreen's or CVS.
