Rare 4cats4me Posted April 4, 2011 #1 Share Posted April 4, 2011 Hi. We just booked an Alaskan cruise which departs out of Seattle. Does the Seattle airport have a reasonably priced van or mode of transportation like a Super Shuttle which would take us to a hotel in downtown Seattle? Also, what is the cost of a taxicab as opposed to a Super Shuttle-type van to get down to the Pike's Market area? Thank you in advance.:)
itzmered Posted April 4, 2011 #2 Share Posted April 4, 2011 If you hop over to the West Coast Departures board there is a lot of good info about Seattle on there
mapleleaves Posted April 4, 2011 #3 Share Posted April 4, 2011 There's a Seattle FAQ at the top of the West Coast Dept forum in STICKY's. Light Rail is the cheapest option, $2.75 But not good if you've overpacked. Yellow Cab was $41 when I spoke with them last month. There are other options; just look in the FAQ. bracket_mom Posted April 4, 2011 #4 Share Posted April 4, 2011 We are taking the light rail to downtown. But, we will only have one pullman suitcase and a carry one so it won't be too much to get around.
gram26 Posted April 4, 2011 #5 Share Posted April 4, 2011 We have booked a room at SEA-TAC area for room, breakfast, and transport to and from the port for a very good price.
