Pinelle Island, rocky walking in water?

Hearing many pros and cons on Pinelle Island. Can anyone verify if walking into the water is sandy, or rocky? Some people love it, others are disappointed. Not looking for the party scene, just a peaceful beach. Dont really care if the snorkeling is terrific. HELP!!!

The water is shallow and mostly sand. Some rocks but it's not hard to go around them. I found Pinel Island to be very pretty and a nice place to go. Not great, but nice. I might be able to drum up a couple of pictures if you are interested.
