Hi all, We are sailing on the Grand Princess 29th June 2011. Does anyone know if there are any 13amp British style sockets in the cabins or will we need to take an American Style Adaptor for our British appliances.

Thank you in anticipation.

Why don't you join us on the roll call for this sailing. Quite a few of us on there by now!!

We were on the Grand last year....only US sockets. We took a 4 socket extension for all those electrical items. Invaluable.

Make sure that any electrical appliances you take have dual voltage. If they only have UK voltage 220/240 they will not work properly even if you use an adaptor to enable you to plug them into the US two pin sockets. If you don't have dual voltage you have to buy a very expensive converter which is heavy to carry. There are several sites on the net which will explain everything. Have a great cruise - we were on the Grand in February and loved everything about it.
