CCL deposit

Hi all knowing CCL lovers....

 

We are looking to book a Oct cruise. I have never booked a cruise out early enough to not have to pay in full at time of booking. This year we are going to take part in the ES program YAY!! My concern is what is the deposit amount. I think I was told $250 per person when I called about a 6 day saling. I see the price of a 5 day I like got super cheap so I might change my mind. Will the deposit still be $250? I hope not as the $250 is about what our total fare will be.

 

I have a friend booking a 4 day and she was told $150 but I understand that as her crusie fair is less than $250.

 

 

I am just in shock over how much they ask for a deposit. I though it would be a lot less! Maybe booking early is not worth it.

$150 per person for 4 day cruise

$200 per person for 5 day cruise

$250 per person for 6 & 7 day cruise

$350 per person for Alaska cruise

$300 per person for 8 day cruise

$350 per person for 7 day Europe cruise

$400 per person for 9 day Europe cruise

$500 per person for 12 day Europe cruise

Your friend pay the regular 4 day deposit, $150

 

5 days deposit was $200

 

7 days was $250

 

Iv never done a 6 day.....Im sure its on Carnival's FAQs somewhere. Has nothing to do with the fare, unless the total fare including taxes for the booking (the whole cabin) is less than the deposit.
