Stupid ? about Visa RC points for shipboard credit

I assume it's true, that I can't use Visa RC points for shipboard credit on Celebrity. Right? We are sailing on Celebrity next month, and it would be nice to have a bit of credit. Otherwise, it will have to wait till our next RCI cruise.

Correct, it can not be used on a Celebrity cruise.

You are correct. Visa RC points cannot be used on Celebrity.

The only real advantage to using these cards is to get double points for the money you spend with Celebrity or RCCL. Otherwise just get a credit card that will give you points that you can exchange for a cash reward. While it is not OBC it is cash to take OB.
