I think you're better off putting a little bag together yourself. You could buy your niece a little writing to book to keep a travelogue of her journey. Perhaps some sea bands in case sea sickness, some sun tan oil, some mints.

 

A small plush toy is a nice keepsake and it's fun to take pictures of it at all of the stops she makes throughout her voyage. You might give her a nice ship themed luggage tag, those are available on the internet. Put the whole thing in a small bag with some decorative tissue paper and you're all set.

I know, I know. Just don't want to carry a bunch of stuff. Usually do lanyards and custom luggage-tags anyway.
