birdylady Posted April 26, 2011 Author #30 Share Posted April 26, 2011 When you went to Cozumel do you know which pier you docked at? I believe it was the International Pier. Erika
daisy-mae Posted April 26, 2011 #31 Share Posted April 26, 2011 We will have a rental car and plan to drop off the luggage, return the car to Avis and return to the pier in the Avis shuttle. Will we pay a parking fee for the short time our rental car will at the pier? Thanks! R&D When you get to the pier, do not follow the signs that lead you into the parking garage. Make a left before the parking area, and follow the shuttle vans to the drop-off area. The porters will direct you into a parking spot where the luggage can be unloaded; you have to work quickly, though, so it would probably be best if one of you were to stay behind to deal with the luggage while the driver returns the vehicle. Rare cruiselvr04 Posted April 26, 2011 #32 Share Posted April 26, 2011 We are leaving from Port Canaveral this fall. We have done it once before but I can't remember how much time to leave for catching a flight out of MCO with a rental car return. We like to take our time getting off the ship. If we leave the ship around 9, leave an hour to get off and customs, another hour to shuttle and get the rental car, 90 minutes to drive back and return the car in Orlando, another 2 hours to get to the gate...thinking of a 3 p.m. or so flight. Could it be earlier without stress? I see some 2:00 and 2:30 flights which would be nce since we always have a plane change to get home. Any opinions? cruisesR4me Posted April 26, 2011 #33 Share Posted April 26, 2011 Which side of the ship is next to the dock in Cozumel, Falmouth, and Labadee, port or starboard?
time4u2go Posted April 26, 2011 #34 Share Posted April 26, 2011 Which side of the ship is next to the dock in Cozumel, Falmouth, and Labadee, port or starboard? It varies from cruise-to-cruise. It's probably a 50/50 shot either way at any port.
