confused!!!

trying to help my parents choose a river cruise... they are concerned about which company to cruise with .. they have done ocean cruises.. have travelled through Europe extensively by vehicle... can anyone help with an answer.. just need a good positive as to company to travel with... thanks from nervous newbies! :)

Any of the major brands has good and bad features,,,and people who love them...so pick an itinerary,find company and ship you like,,,read reviews here,,,listed per ship,,etc...that said,,,have been on Viking,Avalon,Uniworld,and am trying AMA next year....like those with french balconies....then compare costs,cabins,etc...lots of work,,,but worth it ...good luck...oh,,,if first cruise,,try 7 nite one to make sure its for you....I like to book with online travel company,,,to get best rates,,and info...;)

I would suggest a Rhine river cruise. Having cruised the Rhine, Danube and the Rhone rivers, the Rhine stands out! Go down the Rhine from Bassel to Amsterdam on a Uniworld cruise and you will not be disapointed.
