VCR in Premium Balcony on Pride?

I was looking at a picture of our stateroom 6279 online and it looks like there is a vcr under the television. Can anyone confirm this? If so we will bring a couple of movies for the kids to watch.

I wouldnt worry too much about the tv for the kids.

There is a cartoon network. Always a movie that runs a loop 24 hours.

There is also a station where the kids can see what is happening in each port

Since I wrote that I found another thread which has a link to pictures of 7301 which is the same room on deck 7. It actually says tv and vcr. :)

Suites are advertised with VCR's - the photo above was in 2006.

Perhaps there WAS one in that cabin. When I first sailed on Carnival on the Inspiration in a Grand Suite (then called Category 12...) there was a VCR. Guest Services (then called the Purser's Desk) had a small collection of tapes to lend. The last time I stayed in that exact same cabin on that same ship there was no VCR. The old TV was replaced by a flat screen mounted to the wall and the VCR was gone...

When we were on the Pride in Sept. in an aft wrap, 4237, maintenance came in one day and placed a cover over where the VCR was. When I asked, they said since no one uses the VCR's anymore.

This is exactly the setup we found in 6279. A plate where the vcr used to be and a new flat screen tv.

We will be in this room next week and found a gentleman who was in the same room. No VCR.
