VCR in Premium Balcony on Pride?

Nope... sorry. Here's the description of your cabin from Carnival...

Cabin 6279 (9B OST4) 230/85 sq ft

Beds: twin/king-1 sofabed-1 upper rab:0

View: window and large balcony connecting balconies: yes

Features: TV; telephone; 110 AC current; individual climate control; hair dryer; safe; minibar; 2-closets; shower; sofa and coffee table.

. It sure looks like a vcr... (Not to contradict you, just showing where I got the idea from.)

I wouldnt worry too much about the tv for the kids.

There is a cartoon network. Always a movie that runs a loop 24 hours.

There is also a station where the kids can see what is happening in each port

Since I wrote that I found another thread which has a link to pictures of 7301 which is the same room on deck 7. It actually says tv and vcr. :)

Suites are advertised with VCR's - the photo above was in 2006.

Perhaps there WAS one in that cabin. When I first sailed on Carnival on the Inspiration in a Grand Suite (then called Category 12...) there was a VCR. Guest Services (then called the Purser's Desk) had a small collection of tapes to lend. The last time I stayed in that exact same cabin on that same ship there was no VCR. The old TV was replaced by a flat screen mounted to the wall and the VCR was gone...
