What Rates to Book?

I am looking at booking the Elation for July 9 for 2 people. Here are my options

OV Past guest for $759 pp

OV Residential Rates 709 pp

Interior Past Guest $709 pp

Interior Residential Rates 659 pp

What is the difference between the past guest and residential rates, if any? We have only cruised on the Fantasy and had an OV room. Thanks. Any other advice?

Residential just means that your specific state is part of a promotional offer with special rates.

Did any of the rates show when you clicked thru what choices you had. Almost always past guest includes a few decks upgrade included, so it costs more.

Residential might even be a gty rate ....so you need to click thru to see what choices were offered.

This is a example of what you get for the past guest rate... notice the free upgrade. Inside, but no window. (thats why I personally would prefer the port hole)

Past Passenger Rate

Details $709 $1,418

upgrade Free category upgrade to 4E - Deck: Deck 7

OK Im clicking thru for you. I would take the PT cabin, port holes, for $659 myself.

Do be aware the fare is for one person so you have to X 2, for 2 people.

All these cabins are pretty far forward so if you get motion sickness, might not be a good choice, but its what I would pick. I like E1, but you will hear docking noise that far forward. This is what came up for $659 pp.
