wantavacay Posted April 25, 2011 #1 Share Posted April 25, 2011 We are traveling on the Legend for the July 24th sailing. This is our first cruise (our girls are 10 and 13), so we are wondering what the best shore excursions might be with kids of these ages. We would love to do some snorkeling and any other tours that would be most appealing to kids. Any advice appreciated. BTW, the ports are Belize, Cozumel, Grand Caymen, and Roatan, and we would love a good mixture of all the best that the ports have to offer. Rare crewsweeper Posted April 25, 2011 #2 Share Posted April 25, 2011 Any excursion to StingRay City. A must for first timers. And then grab a hand made icecream cone from the store above the Tortuga Rum store in the Royal Walters shops where some ship tenders dock ( only a short walk from the other tender dock too)
JohninDC Posted April 25, 2011 #3 Share Posted April 25, 2011 We were just in GC last week and used Moby Dick tours for the snorkel and stingray city tour - lots of families on the tour (Easter week) and they were great. Added an extra crew member to accomodate the crowd (we still had less than 50 on our boat), kid sized snorkel gear available, and great service for about $20 per person less than the cruiseline will charge you. We had good snorkeling (lots of different fish and coral) along with 40+ minutes of fun wiht the rays. Good luck!
