SantanaTto Posted May 19, 2004 #1 Share Posted May 19, 2004 Leaving 5/23 for Bermuda on the Empress of the Seas.. Since this will be my first cruise, I was wondering what the temperature is like in the evenings on the ship. Will I need a jacket or sweater or will I be comfortable in short sleeves?? I don't want to overpack (like I ALWAYS do!!)but I don't want to freeze in the evenings either! HELP! Susan - New Cruiser!
Nitemare Posted May 20, 2004 #2 Share Posted May 20, 2004 If you have a question about a specific ship or cruiseline you have a much better chance of getting a good answer if you ask it on the board here at Cruise Critic dedicated to that cruiseline. Good luck!
GeoffMIA Posted May 20, 2004 #3 Share Posted May 20, 2004 Most ships can be pretty darn cold in public areas. Even in the Caribbean in August I usually wear long-sleeves in the evening and bring a jacket for on deck/balcony. Rumncoke Posted May 22, 2004 #4 Share Posted May 22, 2004 I agree. Royal, Carnival, NCL...have all been too cold for me in the evenings. I bring a pashmina/shawl which works just great.
