sjones1014 Posted May 3, 2011 #1 Share Posted May 3, 2011 I'm pretty sure the answer is going to be no, but since I can't seem to be able to find a definitive answer, here goes: We'll be at the fresh flower market in Nice, France this Sunday (Mother's Day) and would love to be able to have my mom pick out her own bouquet and bring it back on board to keep in her cabin for the rest of the cruise. I know RCI sells flower arrangements, so I'm pretty sure they won't allow us to do this as it would cut into their profits... but I was hoping their policy is more like that of bringing food back on from ports (OK to do as long as we don't want to get it back off the ship... Or am I wrong about that, too?) Anyone know for sure? Thanks, Sarah
sailawayjack Posted May 3, 2011 #2 Share Posted May 3, 2011 :cool:Bought a huge bunch of flowers at Pike Market Place, Seattle and took aboard Rhapsody heading to Alaska. No one said a word, and we had them in cabin the whole week:cool:
cb at sea Posted May 3, 2011 #3 Share Posted May 3, 2011 You can bring flowers onto the ship...you just won't be able to take them OFF the ship, into another country!
sjones1014 Posted May 3, 2011 Author #4 Share Posted May 3, 2011 Thank you both so much! I think that will be the perfect Mother's Day gift for my mom. What a relief! We'll definitely give it a try!
