Ft Lauderdale Car Rental

We fly in early on departure day and want to rent a car just for a few hours. Does anyone know or recommend a rental agency within walking distance of the Allure dock that's open on Sundays?

We did this on April 17th after departing the Allure since our flight wasn't until 5 pm. We used the luggage valet service ($20 pp) so we didn't have to worry about our luggage. At 7:30 am we left the ship, and right outside the doors of the cruise terminal, the free shuttle bus was there waiting to take us to National Car Rental at FLL. I believe they serviced Alamo as well. By 8 am we were already on the road with our rental car!

We have used Thrifty car rental they have a shuttle and were located just outside the port gates...

Do you know what airlines you can use the valet service with? I am flying Southwest late in the day.

I'm planning to rent a car with hertz. Aparently, there must be a shuttle around when disembaking. Has anyone tried this service? And where is the National office, at the airport?
