Thanks inside cabins are all the same exactly- you are paying a higher price for location. PS- price out two cabins to see the difference- it may not be that muchmore
jdcml Posted May 5, 2011 #3 Share Posted May 5, 2011 Actually there are some differences. Those rooms tend to be a little larger based on their location - not significant, but anything could help :) There was a thread awhile back that indicated that only some of the 4J's were HC, not all of them. Of course those that are HC you have the chance of being bumped if you don't need it. The bathrooms are a little larger and more manageable since they have accounted for a wheelchair in their design. The cruiselinerooms dot com site has a few pictures of two of the cabins on the Lido deck. We had two of them booked for our Oct trip but then moved to a cove because the difference wasn't all that significant at the time. There are a number of threads that discuss the ability to see in the window during the day and the majority indicate that you can't but some people say that you can. Everyone seems to agree that you can see in at night. As far as that is concerned I think of it like a window in an exterior corridor hotel - you leave it open when you want and close it if you need to. jdcml Posted May 5, 2011 #4 Share Posted May 5, 2011 Here is the thread with more pictures and information about that size: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?p=26749195 There is also a .pdf in that thread that shows you which of the 4J's are accessible should you need it.
