I like Empress because its the deck you usually board and debark on and just convenient... but I would take almost any deck. Verandah is the only deck I have not been on yet.

Thanks, firefly. One of 1st cruise we were on Empress and I liked it. On our second, we were on lido and i LOVED it. Both seem like good locations, i just cant decide which one to stay on! lol.

Iv been on Lido and admit I loved it too, but dont like paying so much extra. If I just did one special cruise a year, like if I was still working, I would pay more attention to the cabin, now I cruise so much, Ill let them put me wherever. Iv upgraded twice on RCL and paid extra, once to a JS to get the double credit, but on Carnival Im happy anywhere.

 

Lido was so easy to walk to get my morning coffee and sit out at the pool with no stairs or elevators to deal with. That was my favorite thing.
