5 to sailing and many JS still available

Recommended Posts

Only 5 days away from sailing and despite RCI dropping the prices, there are many JS cabins still available.

Has anyone experienced this before when a sailing is not full so close to departure?

Overall there are nearly 70 cabins still empty with 46% being balcony cabins.

Just thought it was quite a high number, may be not.

We had a similar situation on AOS last october. 2 days before sailing about 70% of the suites plus many other cabins were still showing as available and as far as we could tell no one had been upgraded.

We went to the pier coordinators desk after check in and were able to upgrade to an OS for $400. In the end I think most of the suites were filled this way. I wish they would do this on every sailing:D

You are so right!

There has got to be some Indian ritual dance you can do, or put up a shrine dedicated to RCI management, to attract her...Or is it a him ;)

You might get lucky, we are first timers so no hope there, on our sailing 11th June, there is only one JS left...

That might be the next option when we get to the port on Saturday. I know what I'm willing to pay for a JS for a 5 night sailing in lieu of an aft cabin with a large balcony.

We gave up our corner aft too but it was worth it for the OS!

The prices we were quoted were exactly the same as on the list that is posted on here somewhere. If you search you will probably find it.
