Halloween on a cruise

Hi all, we are going on a cruise that will set sail on Oct 31st. Anyone have any thoughts on what we can expect? Do people usually dress in costumes on board? Does Carnival do Halloween activities? Thanks!

Yes they decorate and I always wear a costume and so do many other people........

Just do a google and you will find many post and threads like this.....

You will not be the only "clowns" in costume :D. We had a blast on our Halloween cruise in 2006 (we are in our 40's).

Been on several , Loved them all .

 

With the exception of one which was on the Miracle.

They put decorations up late Halloween night and had them done and gone by midnight?

 

The costumes are amazing !!

to kids, tablemates, waiters, desk, anyone I see..I di a costumy look, with already packed closed, with a touch of theme. The ships are dressed out for BOO, too

We sailed on the Destiny over Halloween twice. Both times, Halloween fell on formal night, and I saw more costumes than formal wear. Have fun!

We sailed on The Legend on Haloween a few years ago...I specifically asked my PVP about costumes, decorations, parties, etc. He said that Carnival does not participate in Halloween. At that time I didn't know about CC, so I didn't think to ask here. Well on Halloween night I was very disappointed because LOTS of people were in costume, their was a costume contest, decorations, etc.

Done a couple of Halloween cruises, always fun. One year they did a special Halloween show in the theatre.
