firefly333 Posted May 12, 2011 #2 Share Posted May 12, 2011 I would do as little as possible and buy internet time in the ports. the ports sell internet time for $1 to $6 AN HOUR. Carnival sells it by the minute. If you book the largest package you can get it down to 40 cents a minute .. (saw it last week on sister ship Elation). sometimes you can get 10 minutes free. Dont forget on the ship the connection is extremely slow, like dial up. You will get much faster connect time in the ports. Just save an hour in the ports to get online if you can. *Mach* Posted May 12, 2011 #3 Share Posted May 12, 2011 On shorter sailings, five days and less, you'll be offered a package of 60 minutes for $24 and often you'll be able to get an added 10 minutes if you purchase the package on the first day or so. A word of caution, the connection is very slow. Using it early in the morning or late at night helps with this problem as fewer folks are online at those times. Yes, everyone can use the minutes but they'll need to log on with the same user name and password as the person who purchased the package. Here's the log on screen...
