Ride Dolphins or just look at them?

I am confused by the different dolphin encounters listed. Is there one where the dolphins actually come up under your feet and you ride them? I did that in Jamaica and it was awesome. Wondering if Cozumel has the same.

i just booked that dolphin thing where 2 come up under you and push you up out of the water. i did it directly with the place at chankanaab park dolphin discovery. it was about 100 per person and we booked something like 30 days in advance so we got 20% off and 15 min in the water with manatee. the cruise we will be on didnt offer this particular activity

There are 3 different categories to purchase.

 

If you do the encounter, you are just standing on a platform in the water. They will give you the handshake and you can touch them. I think they may kiss you and sing for you.

 

The dolphin ride, you get to interact with them and they give you the above with a ride on them.

 

Then the royal treatment, you get to do the above and they also come up and push you up out of the water with their noses or something like that.

 

I haven't done this excursion, just from reading a lot of the sites that list the different activities you can do with them. We plan on booking with them for this upcoming cruise.
