marshhawk Posted May 16, 2011 #4 Share Posted May 16, 2011 Sounds like a great cruise-you already got the answer, but I was going to suggest that on your day at sea, you also attend tea in the afternoon. Makes for a nice break in the day. Cruise happy!:)
silverado44 Posted May 16, 2011 #5 Share Posted May 16, 2011 There are no formal nights on Carnival. They were eliminated over 2 years ago.
Nicki61 Posted May 17, 2011 #6 Share Posted May 17, 2011 There are no formal nights on Carnival. They were eliminated over 2 years ago. Are you correct with this info? No formal nights? Or are they calling them something else? Like "Dressy" or "Evening"?
Colorado Kat Posted May 17, 2011 #7 Share Posted May 17, 2011 They call them Elegant nights now. Typically the fisrt sea day. Wide variety of dressiness for people.
KansasK Posted May 17, 2011 #8 Share Posted May 17, 2011 We were on the Miracle in November. The formal night was called "Elegant". People treated it like a formal night. Some people were elegant and some less elegant, but it was still a formal night.

Some people were elegant and some less elegant, but it was still a formal night. This makes more sense than, there isn't any formal nights anymore... BlueJacketsFan1 Posted May 17, 2011 #10 Share Posted May 17, 2011 My wife and I have always been able to go to www.webshots.com and find Carnival Capers for our upcoming cruise. That way you can check out all kinds of information about your cruise before you go.
