Is the Archeological Museum in Naples within walking distance of the port?

I thought it was but the Naples port Explorer guide says to take a cab. If it is within walking distance anyone have directions from the port?Thanks

It is less than 1.5 miles from the main ferry dock. Google map has a good walking option. Just enter Port of Naples and Archeology Museum, Naples, Italy

We walked back from it in about 30 minutes but we were not in any hurry. It is easy to walk back than to it as it is an upgrade most of the way there.

Do keep in mind that walking to the museum is uphill; walking from is downhill. Not a big rise, but a long one. There are small stores along the way, so you can do a bit of shopping if you tire.
