Longislanderluvs2cruise Posted May 19, 2011 #1 Share Posted May 19, 2011 After our cruise ends in Venice, we are staying a few extra days in Florence. Our flight home is from Milan. Does anyone know if there is a high speed train that goes directly from Florence to Milan's Malpensa Airport or do we need to go into Milan Central and transfer to another train or bus to get to the airport? Thanks Joanne
euro cruiser Posted May 19, 2011 #2 Share Posted May 19, 2011 Yes, there is a direct train from Florence to Malpensa; it stops at Bologna and Milan but you don't get off or change trains. There aren't many each day, however: 7:00 AM Florence, 9:38 AM Malpensa 2:00 PM Florence, 4:38 PM Malpensa

Longislanderluvs2cruise Posted May 20, 2011 Author #7 Share Posted May 20, 2011 Thank you Euro cruiser and Scottbee! This is just what I needed to know. I originally found the trains but it was under the rail europe website and I thought the prices were kind of high. thanks again!
