Post Cruise Question

My wife and I will be on the northbound cruise from Vancouver to Whittier on the Island Princess from June 4th to June 11th and I wanted to get opinions on if my sightseeing plans for after our cruise are good or can be improved on. Currently I am thinking of taking the following itinerary.

 

June 3rd

1) Arrive in Vacouver

2) Spend day sightseeing

3) Stay at hotel in Vancouver

 

June 4th - June 10th

1) Spend morning doing some more sightseeing

2) Board Island Princess for northbound cruise

3) Party, Party, Party

4) Do Kayak, Capt Larry, Glacier Trek and Horseback riding

 

June 11th

1) Disembark Island Princess in Whittier

2) Take Prince William Sound Cruise out of Whittier

3) Take bus or train to Anchorage

4) Stay at hotel in Anchorage

 

June 12th

1) Take either bus, train or rent car to Seward

2) Do Kenai Northwestern Fjord Cruise

3) Maybe do Kenai Resurrection Bay Dinner Cruise

4a) Stay at hotel in Seward

4b) Or return to Anchorage and stay in hotel

 

June 13th

1a) Do more sightseeing in Seward (Need ideas on what else to see)

1b) Or return to Anchorage and sightsee Anchorage

2b) Stay at hotel in either Seward or Anchorage

 

June 14th

1) Return to Anchorage if not already there

2) Sightsee Anchorage

3) Go to airport for 8PM flight

 

So my question is what do you think of this itinerary? I was hoping to go straight from Whittier to Seward but can not find a good mode of transportation to get there without renting a car in Whittier which I would rather not due because of the $125.00 relocation fee.

 

Please post any suggestions or ideas that you may have.

June 12, I would tour Anchorage area, then later drive to Seward. June 13 Northwestern fjords trip, overnight again Seward, June 14 Anchorage. You could add more time for touring Anchorage if you do the Avis one way rental. The $125 fee is WELL worth the better routing and no back tracking in your short time. My opinion only.
