There are a number of cruises that simply aren't showing up on Carnival.com. As an example, our cruise on the Conquest Oct 30 doesn't even appear so there's a fair possibility that cabins remain for your voyage...

You may get a big one. If the ship is sold out you may be upgraded to a suite. Hmmm, happened to us once. Just once but we went from a gty balcony to a OS. Wow, those things NEVER happen to me. It was a nice surprise! Happy cruising.

relax...you will be fine..you may not find out until you actually check in at the pier, but the least you will have is a balcony cabin..all sold out means is that there are no more cabins for sale if someone calls in today..you might be in for a nice surprise

Our May sailing on the Miracle was also sold out and we were in a TBA inside room. We didn't find out our room until we arrived to board. We were surprised with a french door room! It wasn't a HUGE upgrade, but it was great to have light and fresh air! It also convinced us that our next cruise will be in a balcony room. So, don't worry! And good luck- hope you get a nice surprise (although a balcony room is just as good!)!

The OP is correct when they called it a boat. All ships are boats, but not all boats are ships. Do you remember The Big Red Boat?
