I will be on the Carnival Dream in August. Can anyone recommend a good hotel near port canaveral ?

Country Inn and Suites is the closest and newest and used to give you free parking with any room there, you didnt have to book the cruise special.

 

I used Radison but heard you now have to book the cruise special to get the free parking.

I called the Raddison to check that out myself because last year we stayed there and LOVED it and were able to book the regular rate, but they have indeed changed that policy. It's $30 extra on top of the regular rate or the cruise package is the same price...

 

I may have to look into the Country Inn and Suites if it's cheaper! Right now I found a room at the Raddison for $150 total with taxes for our October cruise on the dream.

Advantage of the package is that it also provides breakfast buffet and the shuttle to and from the port. We are not driving - but this is what I have booked. They also have a package to tour the Space Center - there is a launch of a Mars Rover the day we plan on being there.

just put radisson port canaveral into google and it will come up.

 

country inn and suites already includes the breakfast and used to include the shuttle free.

 

some did not like the older radisson. its pink stucco, with ceiling fans, sleep number beds (I loved the beds) and pedestal sink in the bathroom.

You should be able to locate the hotel by using the Radisson website and see pictures, etc.

I booked the Radisson specifically for the sleep number beds.... hope I can live with everything else. Fire is right though, I think the Country Inn is prolly cheaper and offers same amenities as Radisson except for the beds.

 

Since I am doing a little out of the ordinary - I booked direct through the hotel. Got the number off the Radisson Hotel site.
