Skagway Dog sled camp

Is there a dog sled camp in or near Skagway that you can visit? We don't want to helicopter to a glacier to ride but my girls would love to see the dogs.

It is an excursion that is offered trough the cruise lines for $110 per person. If you want to do it privately it's a couple dollars cheaper- but it's expensive. Also, the sleds are on wheels, but you get to see the dogs!:)

In the past there was also a store in Ketchikan that had sled dogs. I will try and find out if it's still there?? Was a couple years ago the last time I was there. If you have a car in Skagway, Murray - Yukon posted a reasonable cost option with a Carcross kennel.
