where to look for best cruise deals?

We cannot name specific sites here - your best bet is to shop around. You will find that Carnival, just like the airlines, will not allow "discount" sites to post a rate lower than they advertise on their own website.

We have used an online cruise travel agent the last 2 years. Carnival no longer allows them to discount the cruise rate, however they do give us an onboard credit based on the rate. We were still able to book the ES rate and whenever there was a price drop we just sent an email to our agent and she filled out the form for the new rate! No problem!
