Question about debarkation

If we are hiring a private car to take us to the airport, how does X handle the luggage? We are not doing self-dragging. Would we get off when our color tags get off for the flight? I'm just concerned b/c we have an International flight at 1:00pm. I know you experts out there will help out! Thank you all very much.

What is the port of debarkation? And what day of the week do you debark? Those two pieces of information will help get answers to the question about timing, but basically at all ports the luggage is off-loaded to a big warehouse. It is sorted by color. There should be porters to help if you need it, but it can be somewhat of a zoo. If you are in the U.S., you'll need to collect your luggage, take it through customs, and meet your driver on the other side. In most international ports, you won't go through customs, but at some you will, so we need to know the port and itinerary.

Thanks, and sorry I wasn't more specific.

It was a very easy process in Civitavecchia.:) Enjoy!

When you get your debark questionnaire, go to Guest Relations and tell them when you want to depart the ship. They will give you a tag number to accommodate. Easy as that. - Ric
