Newark Airport Express

Hi,

We are flying into Newark Airport and wonder if the Newark Airport Express is a good option for the 2 of us? Sailing on Hal from the Manhattan cruise terminal. Looking at the web site, it does say one of the drop off stops is at the port. ( But am I looking at the right port? ;)). The cost is $30. round trip pp. Good choice for transportation?

I'm not seeing the port as a drop off on their web site. Perhaps I missed it. I'm only seeing stops at Port Authority, Bryant Park, and Grand Central. If you buy your tickets ahead, it is $27 rt. The bus picks up at all the Newark terminals, which is really convenient. There is luggage storage under the bus. It's a reasonable cost effective way to get to midtown Manhattan.

You`re right. :D This bus will take us to `Port Authority Bus Terminal`:o

Is this stop (mid Manhattan) near the cruise terminal .... short cab away?

 

or please let me know if there are other options you recommend.

Yes - it is a short cab ride from Port Authority to the cruise port. Port Authority is at 40th-41st St between 8th & 9th Aves. The port is is the west 50's on 12th Ave.
