Very interested in Princess for Southern Itinerary...but then saw HAL..Hmmm???

The worst cruise we have ever had was on HAL - Zuiderdam. Food terrible, service worst and the ship was dirty. This is the only cruise that I've ever had a complaint on.

 

Same ship for us too. I'm seeing a pattern ;)

There are a few HAL ships I would not sail on. That is why I like to look at the Conde Nast ratings of individual ships. HAL has been known to try harder on their exotic ,unusual itineraries and world voyages. That's where they put their best crews, supposedly. I wouldn't be surprised if Princess didn't have a couple of ships that didn't measure up. They are owned by the same parent company. If you sailed on Prinsendam, Amsterdam , Rotterdam and Noordam or Maasdam, you would be very happy.

 

BTW, my friend who sailed on Zuiderdam was not impressed at all.
