CRUISE0825 Posted May 31, 2011 #1 Share Posted May 31, 2011 My PVP will not communicate with me by email. Every time I email her and ask her to reply by email, she calls me. Is there a policy against PVPs emailing or is it just her preference?
Elaine515 Posted May 31, 2011 #2 Share Posted May 31, 2011 I'm guessing just her preference only because if I call my PVP, he calls me back, if I email him, he emails me back !!!
Kitt Lady Posted May 31, 2011 #3 Share Posted May 31, 2011 My PVP will not communicate with me by email. Every time I email her and ask her to reply by email, she calls me. Is there a policy against PVPs emailing or is it just her preference? I'm guessing - it's her preference. My PVP and I email everything. I have only talked to him on the phone twice in two years. She may like the "personal touch".
BeccaBecca1713 Posted May 31, 2011 #4 Share Posted May 31, 2011 If you prefer emailing, then ask for a new PVP. They are definitely allowed to email you.
firefly333 Posted May 31, 2011 #5 Share Posted May 31, 2011 I had one who must not know how to email as she never answered emails .. or called back when I sent one. I got rid of her and now have one who emails.
BigDfromTN Posted May 31, 2011 #6 Share Posted May 31, 2011 Same here. I have communicated with mine via Phone, Email and Text Message and Facebook in the past. She always takes care of my inquiries on a very timely basis via the methond I contacted her. Only exception is if I ask a question via email etc. that has a long or complicated answer, She will call with the answer.
CRUISE0825 Posted May 31, 2011 Author #7 Share Posted May 31, 2011 Thanks everyone for the quick replies! Now I just need to decide if I want to get a new PVP. She's not bad other than her refusal to email.

tef43 Posted May 31, 2011 #9 Share Posted May 31, 2011 Is there a policy against PVPs emailingNope. Perhaps she needs to be made aware of how close she is to losing your business.
ib4cruzn Posted May 31, 2011 #10 Share Posted May 31, 2011 ALWAYS email. Email = proof if there's a misunderstanding (which there seems to be an awful lot of).

golfadj Posted June 1, 2011 #13 Share Posted June 1, 2011 My old pvp had a problem answering emails but always responded to phone calls. He left earlier this year on vacation and never came back.
luv2cruz66 Posted June 1, 2011 #14 Share Posted June 1, 2011 Never really thought about it before but my PVP does have a tendency to "call me" as soon as he gets my email! When I don't call him back right away he usually emails me back. Problem is I love my PVP and when we get on the phone together we tend to talk waaay more than we need to! gobucks_43228 Posted June 1, 2011 #15 Share Posted June 1, 2011 Mine typically calls me too. If I know I am in a position to where I can't accept his return call, I will specifically ask him to respond via email as I will be unavailable to answer his call. He respects that each time! CRUISE0825 Posted June 1, 2011 Author #16 Share Posted June 1, 2011 Did you ask her in your email to just email you back? She may have no idea she's ticking you off?? I did ask her to reply by email but apparently she feels she can help me better by phone. I try to limit my personal calls while at work so email is best for me. I'll give it another try.
