Rare TracieABD Posted August 6, 2011 #26 Share Posted August 6, 2011 When I was on the Crown Princess, I was at a table with a man who had survived stomach and colon cancer. His diet was extremly limited. Like many others have stated, he would review the next night's menu at dinner and then the waiter would consult with the chef to make the necessary accomidations. I was very impressed with the CP food service staff and their compassion for this man.:)
Dena Posted August 6, 2011 #27 Share Posted August 6, 2011 DH needs gluten free food and Princess does a wonderful job including bread, pasta, pancakes, crackers. We have cruised with Princess many times and DH always found lots of good safe food to eat, even desserts. The sorbet is especially good. I don't put much stock in the opinion of an adult who would cry over a cake being taken away from her. To me that post lacks credibility.
